Have you ever noticed Fridays and Saturdays get all the best songs? Sundays and Mondays have been sung about as well. Even Tuesday has a few hits. But there isn’t a whole lotta love for Wednesday. I mean Tori Amos, Prince, even Simon and Garfunkel have written songs about Wednesday. But somehow they aren’t the most memorable.
You even have Two for Tuesday and Throwback Thursday. But Wednesday still gets ignored. It’s hump day. It’s the day right in the middle of the struggle. It’s the middle child that often gets left out or neglected.
Not today. Cuz it is Wednesday. It is storming outside and everyone is in need of a little shelter tonight.
So shelter it is.
