Blood Bond

Since Halloween just passed I thought I might throw together a few songs with a bloody theme…

Sort of.

I know I am reaching on this theme but in truth, this post is about how we are all connected. We all share the same blood. We are all human. We need to come together and help each other, build each other up! Not tear each other down. Can I get an amen!? Or at least a heck yeah?

The division and rancor is red lining. We are in dark times. But have faith my friends. It is in the darkest and most desperate times heroes shall rise up. But here is the kicker,

You are the hero!

Each of us has the spark inside that when linked together with others creates the flame. There is ample cause to be hopeful. In fact there is overwhelming cause for hope. But that hope dies when we remain silent, we sit on the sidelines. Locking arms in love and kindness is how we overcome this darkness. To quote from one of my favorite sci-fi series,

“So say we all”

Can you step up your kindness game? It is incumbent upon ALL of us to rise up to meet the moment.

So these 3 songs are all songs of togetherness. They all speak to the fact that we are all connected. They also all happen to mention that connection is through our blood. And….
